Embracing Belgium!
My good friend Tim, who I "study" with text me t'other night! He has been reading my blog and had two separate things to say. I don't have a photo of him on my computer so I've put the two best photos I have to sum him up...
Firstly he wanted to get him a can of Guanabana to bring to Uni for him to sample. Cracking news! The love of the drink will soon be spreading... worldwide! (well, Belgium). Secondly he has informed me the answer to a question I asked early on in my blog which was along the lines of "is the word blog in the dictionary". His answer goes like this (in a weird Flemish accent)...
"...blog is short for Weblog, and no, it's not in the dictionary."
Thankyou for that Tim, that makes a lot of sense.

If you'd written a post about the Tube i would have added this comment onto it, but you haven't so this'll have to do!
I'm reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (you have to, don't you, and i've never made it past chapter 2 before) and in chapter 1 of the third book there's a character who made me think of you!!
He's called Wowbagger the Infinitely prolonged, and he became immortal by accident.He got so sick of eternal life that he made up a little task for himself: to insult everyone in the universe one by one, in alphabetical order (i'm not saying the likeness is in insulting!). Of course, one of the things he has to do was 'keep track of the entire population of the known Universe and work out all the horrifically complicated routes involved."

Thanks Alina! For some reason I paused at the insult bit and got worried! But it all turned out very nicely. At least Wowbagger has a purpose to his route planning, I on the other do not! It is quite surprising that I haven't posted about the Tube yet but I promise you it will happen soon. Im just taking a break from the Tube at moment but this will be cruely cut short on Friday (20th May) for the Zone 1 Challenge. More shall follow after it...
