End of season

So the season has finished for college. We finished 2nd and lost in the play-offs so no promotion this season. I finished top scorer, managing to score 12 goals in the season in 10 games (3 of which i was in goal for). Thats my first award since playing youth footy at 12.

The season for Young Life Hertford is almost over. We've finished 7th in the season with a better points total than last season. An improvement, but still disappointing. I've now played 41 games for the team and havent scored yet. 1 game to go. This is the last season for YL Hertford in the church league as we're moving to a 5-a-side setup. This means that I have no church team on Saturday mornings next year. As a result I've had 3 offers to sign next season. Firstly from my old team Christ Church Ware who I played for 5 seasons. Also offering are Bishops Stortford (2nd in the league) and Hoddesdon Baptist who are bottom. The process of signing on is still ongoing and I'll keep you updated.

Pre season I will be training with Ware FC in a bid to get fitter and ready for an increase in my football life. Ware are the team that Ive supported since I was... 6? The way I see it is this... I will be going to every game next season, home and away. You have to name 5 players on the bench for Ware's matches but only 3 can be used. So rather than taking 2 players who need to be paid to sit on the bench why not put me on there on for free? My aim would be to get on the bench. that would be amazing!
