Cars Cars Cars
Ok, so I bought a duff motor, but it's probably just as well really seeing as I did bang the door in within 2 days of buying it. I was on my way to Nottingham to see Caz and Katherine and things were looking good. I was doing a steady 80 (or 90) when I saw the turn off for Coalville where my good friend Taf lives at the moment. So i pulled off and went to his and played poker with the boys. Unfortunately I lost but the loss was slightly made less important by the fact that my car had been locked in the community car park at 930pm!! Turns out Taf had a key buthe made me knock on some randomers door before telling me this! COB
So i got out of Coalville and headed up 3 junctions. I managed to just touch 100mph (BIG mistake) and then the car coughed, slowed down and then died. I was not happy. I was literally on the exit slip road to Nottingham, 12 miles away from the Uni itself. I panicked even more because I had no roadside cover. I phoned the local police station and they put me onto the AA who thankfully said I could sign up on the day and they came out 20 minutes later. The obvious happened and he told me it was dead completely. He toed me to the Uni where it stayed overnight. I crashed (no pun) on Caz's floor and the next day phoned a scrap yard who took it away for metal.
In the mean time, Taf drove me home (complete legend!!!!) and Kat (also a legend!!!) has leant me her car for a week or so. So it's back to square one. Looking at a new car tomorrow though.
Peace out. A Town.
